Having gorgeous foodie friends is always a bonus if you love experimenting with recipes and superfood ingredients like I do. The other day fellow foodie, Anna Kelly and I made a mess in the Eat Nourish Glow kitchen trying out new recipes with a bumper crop of mangoes. We came up with a winner that not only tastes like a tropical paradise with every mouthful, its also perfect for those looking for weight loss smoothie recipes (without banana).
2-Minute Healthy Smoothies
The beauty of smoothies is the opportunity to add a number of wholefood ingredients into one, delicious meal. Its a clever and inexpensive way to supplement your diet naturally and boost your weight loss efforts. Because smoothies are in liquid form, they are typically digested faster and hit the bloodstream quicker than if your stomach had to digest a main meal. This makes them a fabulous, wholefood choice for breakfast or after a workout when you body is hungry for nutrients.
Smoothies are an excellent weight loss choice as they are jam-packed with dietary fibre which is essential for good gut health. Just about everybody who does my 7 Day Fat-Burning Smoothie Challenge reports back that they can really feel the difference, and this is the extra because dietary fibre helps to feed gut microbes improving gut health. It also naturally cleans our your intestinal tract and improves bowel movements. Less backed up sludge, means a lighter feeling you and much less uncomfortable bloating.
